CHASE BANK V. CLIENT

Chase Bank sued client in the State of New York for over $15,000 as a result of client's alleged default on a Chase credit card. Client retained The Woods Law Firm, LLC. We reviewed the history of collection attempts with respect to the alleged account and filed a counterclaim citing collection abuse and unfair and deceptive trade practices. Our efforts on behalf of the client resulted in the parties executing a mutual release of claims and the client owing no money to Chase.
